Creating these new powerful Carapacians, they decided to EDIT the already existing DNA CODE so they can live for thousands of years, be able to eat just about anything to sustain their body, and be able to live in harsh environments as compared to normal Carapacians who have a more similar resistance to the people of the players world.
Doing this they LOST some of the original DNA causing some MUTATIONS in new Carapacians created in the ECTOBIOLGY process. These mutations can lead to Carapacians gaining the same traits as the powerful ones, some may age slower, some may be able to eat anything, and more.
